Beyond the Headlines (BTH) is a one-hour current affairs talk radio show and podcast aimed at providing a greater understanding and thoughtful discussion of the various policy issues in our daily news headlines. BTH aims to take listeners beyond the immediacy of our daily news.
The show is produced and hosted by Masters of Public Policy students at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy.
Our show is nationally syndicated airing Mondays from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00p.m. EST on CIUT 89.5 FM in Toronto. CIUT 89.5 FM is Toronto’s preeminent, listener-supported, presenter of leading-edge music and spoken-word programming since 1966. Firmly rooted in the University of Toronto community, CIUT’s programming reaches and represents the community at large and encompasses a wide panorama of styles and expressions. CIUT is licensed by The Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN).
